On most other servers that wooden house would be up in flames. I like what you did with the vines on the sides of the door, it has a nice aesthetic appeal.

That's what I meant. Personally, I've developed an aversion to using wood in my buildings.

Ohh, gotcha. Fair enough I suppose. Glad we don't have any griefers on SG (yet?)

There have been thefts in the past but not a whole lot of mindless destruction (as far as I can tell).

Yep. I have heard of some thefts. But no mindless destruction for the sake of destruction, which is nice.

The wood house I built when I was new to the server. Wood and wool was all I had at the time. As you can see my new house is made of sandstone and bricks.

The SG6 house is looking great, but I have to say that I love your SG5 house (I missed the pics when you posted them). I'm a sucker for a clean, modern house, and you've done wonders with that one... The decoration is superbly done. I'm rather envious of your skills and I've also bookmarked this page for sneaky future reference!

Thanks Koplee....I try to build in a different style every new map. SG5 was ultra modern. I loved that house to. The only issue was it was too small. I'm going more Renaissance this go around. This time the house will be big enough to house all my animals, farms and other needs. Rosleen's Rose Palace from SG5 inspired my in that way.
