Hi! :) Welcome to the server!

To chat just press T, it will open the chat screen. To get out of it hit Esc. Have fun! :D

Oh. That's very strange. Have you checked your chat is turned on in "Options"? The only other thing I could recommend is re-installing MC? No idea if that would help or not. Try googling  "Can't chat in Minecraft" or something.. might give you some ideas.

Ah.. I've just had a look, and you need to put your chat settings to "Shown" if it is set to "cammands only" it won't work.

Also, someone said if you have optifine you have to change the settings in that too.

When I first joined someone sent me a private message (can't remember who it was) and I had no idea what it was. I didn't even know it was a message for me (I know, how could that be...sometimes I have blonde moments ok???)  They sent me about three pm's in total but I never responded....to this day they probably still think I was ignoring them (which totally isn't true!!)  I found out later what private messages look like and thus a lifetime of shame began....

I do my best to ignore Ray all the time.  So do not worry as he is used to it! :P

Yoiks.  I've been on SixtyGig since September 2011 and I never knew there was a private chat option.  :jack_o_lantern_16px:
