Hey everyone. I finished the outside of my building on the east side of the hub across from the lumber yard. It is the first time I have tried something like it so I'm critical on myself about the out come and would like other opinions on it. It's supposed to be similiar to the old "sky scrapers" like tHe Empire State building in New York City. It's not a replica, just a similiar type build. I didn't get any screen shots on it yet and frankly due to it's height I'm not sure I could get the whole thing in screen. The best overall view would be of course via the Live Map, in game you can get the over all height standing in front of it, and at the top there is flashing beacon lights so skydealer won't fly in to it. It does have roof access so you can see them up close, and don't worry I put up gaurd rails so noone will fall off like I did, twice. LOL! So please tell me what you think and any improvements I could add. Decorating each floor will be next, although I have already done the first couple floors. Thanks for your time.

I saw it last night on accident, actually. I was looking through the windows of my hub house because they framed Void's ship very nicely and it was a great screen shot moment. I then went to take another but got turned around. I was like "Why is his ship now a giant skyscraper?!"

It looks good from my hub house window. :D I'll take a closer look tonight.

Finished my hub house , well pretty much anyway. Still have a little decorating and such to do. I'm not sure the stained glass looks good, might look better once I turn better glass or whatever it is on in MCpatcher.

Thanks BD. I have the texture pack fixed now and I saw I needed to change out the purple/ lavender stained glass, changed it to light gray, thanks for the suggestion Ali :), and I think that is what it needed.  here's the pics.

Looks great kan kan! :) I also agree with the stained glass change, the light grey compliments the house much better.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully I can continue the trend when I build in my area. If I ever figure out what I want to do.

It's been awhile since I posted in my build section, but I've been wanting to put this on here.

haven't you noticed all the stone brick I've been using? :D

Didn't have a silk touch pick I could afford to use for that much stuff so it was left to smelting it all from cobble.
