Well this isn't everything, but it's the general plan.

After countless issues with software glitches, insufficient hardware (work laptop) and just having no time to get anything done i finally pushed out a sub standard crappy presentation video of SG6.

I intend on releasing a station map so people can see the way they work with redstone and the general design. Also more details overall for the rails.

Much of this is Rays ideas and some suggestions i made as well, the intent is to continue to have a freebuild map with some structure to the transportation aspect of the map, and a little plan for a stellar city someday.

One other topic soon to be posted would be the "tasks" topic, perhaps a poll to see what tasks people are interested in, and whether they want to help out or not. Be better to have some planning involved rather than 55 miners, and 1 person making food

Anyway hope you enjoy...

Refusing to allow people to be paid less than a living wage preserves to us our own market. There is absolutely no use in producing anything if you gradually reduce the number of people able to buy even the cheapest products. The only way to preserve our markets is to pay an adequate wage. -- Eleanor Roosevelt

Since we are planning stuff maybe we should consider building a quite big public farm building in the hub, from the start ... this way we won't have to worry about food while we mine

Great video, Nek. Thank you for making it all so clear.

The map seems to be 'just right' and the variety of locations for stations should please just about everyone.

That arch in the mountain by the city location is wonderful, would love to see something up there. As selfish as I'd like to be and try to claim it as my own, I think it would be great for some kind of community build or at least one that serves it. Not sure what it is like up there for building so can't really propose anything yet, but if anyone has any ideas for it I'd loved to be involved if that would work out.

Man! Oh man! That video made me soooo excited! I can't believe I am lucky enough to have ample free time around the time we get started. At least, I hope we start as early as December? Meh, even if we don't, I'm so happy to be able to help make this awesome place a "reality."

@Fore: Maybe a viewing place? Since I bet there is a great view from the top of that arch mountain.

Edit: SNOW!!!!!!

Dibs! I only want a little bit of mesa plateau for my hut and farms. Maybe build a little underground getaway.

Unfortunately I can't watch the video right now, will do later. Just a note though, I've been making some plans for automatic farms (just being there generates mats) and I've been looking forward to trying them out on SG6. It would be great to have them outside of hub, if there indeed is a hub. (As stated above, can't watch video yet.) I was wondering if this was possible, and if there are already plans for some, I'd like to help as much as I can! :) (Even if it's just donating mats.)

Edit: Video looks great! So excited to be part of this. I personally don't care much where I live, I tend to not like cool terrain for home as much. But I was thinking that we could convert the mushroom island shown in the video to a huge mushroom farm, as mycelium speeds their growth. In any case, I am looking forward to it! :D

Edit again: Well there goes the grinder idea. Oh well, I'll build it somewhere outside the city! :P
