This is an attempt to keep an eye on what needs doing when, so we can keep track of how getting SG6 ready :) If you notice something that's undone, or missing mats for something, post it here and I'll try to keep it updated as best I can!

This needs doing: (updated 26th january 2014)

Iron and Gold!

Glowstone

Fuel ! Coal, charcoal, we need to smelt the cobble :)

Leveling the ground at SixtyGig city to an average of 67 (we still want hills and rivers)

Working on securing and connecting the railways (as seen in the rail status post) http://sixtygig.com/...g6-rail-status/

(in case you need suggestions for where to start!)

Thank you so much. Gone are the days when I'm stuck wondering what to do! :D

I'll probably be working on terrarforming and mining when I actually have enough free time in one chunk to come online :P

When you say wall do you mean the nether brick one?
I know the walkway and downslope need work, I've been distracted by rails and wilds. But ray has been working the wall - is he ok with others extending it or is he protective of how it's done?

For anyone terraforming - when you get close to the wall you can leave whatever is 10 blocks or so away like it is. Makes it easier to build down the slope from y 75!

Also, a cliff face or two is ok (especially gravel blocks) - it can be made into a waterfall feature.

If there's a cave system near the wall, for the love of god please light it up!

As far as stone goes, speaking for myself anyway, when digging out the rail stations that Nek has started I've simply been using the stone I've been mining because a walk back to spawn is too far when I already have a surplus of stone from digging.  I'm either using Silk Touch to make it simple, or smelting cobble into stone when the ST pick gets low, then repairing with the XP I get from smelting.

I've done just about all the stations I've dug out so far in this way, using maybe a chest of stone from Fort Knox.

I am mining stone and putting it in the city furnace when I get a chest full or so.  I will try and keep it as full as I can when I can

I'll deal with the mob protection and supports at the island on N to NE, since it runs across my patch.

GT was looking at bridge designs for that big span of water I thought... I may look and see if I can find a different, more simple design for the shorter span (since I nearly drowned looking for the sea bed to drop a support just off the island)

(didn't I post this once already?)

Yes, I still intend to do the bridge.  Mob protection should be good on this line except for your island, so please go ahead and do that.  All other supports for N-NE should be done except for the water areas and your island.

Yeah I saw... I have run the most basic of supports across the island for now... since I am considering suspending my track to the island below the main one.  It's now mob proof (I hope) just bee thinking on that shorter bridge, think I have a plan,,
