So, I thought I'd start my 'my work' page with a bang, or, rather a flop in this case. :P <pictures coming soon, my computer isn't cooperating with uploading right now>

I built an aquarium in single player. It had channels of water propelling fish from side to side, randomly selecting each one. (Much like http://m.youtube.com...h?v=HUtFsyTNihA, but I used different redstone). It ended up working great, once I had figured everything out! I migrated to sixtygig. After spending a few hours building this thing, it ate my fish. All of them. When I put some in, and walked away for a bit, I'd come back to find they had all despawned, despite being moved back and forth through the hoppers. It is now just a decoration in sixtycity, a top to an underground fishing machine. (Which, by the way, is still functional, so use it if you want! :D)

So that concludes the first installment of my work. I will soon post photos of the fish tank, and my future planned build. :)

It's the one that got away.
Bit of a red herring.
Fish giving you the slip?
I bet you feel gutted.
Some day it will be fin-ished.
Don't give up. You're just lightly battered.

(God, these are awful.)

I'm planning to have it in a forest biome, and to have a sandstone path with hedges leading up to it. Also a horse garage and storage downstairs. There's a dining room in the back, glassed in, as well as a kitchen and maybe even a swimming pool or pond. :) I'm going to need a lot of quartz.. :P

Did a bit more in creative on my house, I added a basement with all the stuff in it and an entrance.  :)

Not sure what to do for the roof.  I was thinking just a slanted sandstone slab with supports, and glass around the slanted spots. Currently, the ceilings are nether quartz, but I don't think I'll be able to do that much quartz in survival. :( I think diorite may work, though, as it takes 1/2 the quartz. I considered stone slabs, but they seem to clash with the sandstone. I'll keep messing with it :)

Here's the imgur album: http://imgur.com/a/X7AhV#0

Any suggestions? :D

Very pretty Blue! Since the house is relatively modern, I think a relatively flat roof would look just fine, maybe a bit of slant with some slabs but nothing dramatic. It's a shame quartz is difficult to get in large quantities, I love using it in my builds as well. :(

Made my hub house a few days ago:

It now has a stable, another tree, and a beacon out back (currently mining to power it).

(First time using gallery, hope I did it right! :P)

I've done about half of the front of my skyscraper. :D My plan is to extend the white part up about 3 times the size it is now, switch the glass colors a bit of the way through (At cloud level, maybe? Might not go that far :P) and cap it off with a triangle roof. This is just the front, the side is about twice as long as the front is. I believe I might have it going down to bedrock as well, and have each room have a different purpose. (One room for tree farming, one room for potatoes, one for carrots, villagers, iron farm, generic mob farm way up high, XP grinder if I can find a dungeon under it, decorative rooms, etc. etc.) This will be a project that I'll decorate a room when I feel like it, so it may never get completed. :D Means I'll never be bored!

That's quite the project you've made for yourself, Drags.  Looking good so far and you'll never have to leave home if you get everything you want under one roof. :)

Great idea, can't wait to see more!

I managed to get the lower part of the walls on every side, so I can start working on the lobby. I'll post some photos once I get some of the design done ;)

I've also decided to expand it into a city. I've planned out some roads with a few different districts.

I'll have 2 more skyscrapers, not as big as the first. One will be a gold farm, and the other will be a giant mellon/pumpkin/cactus farm that harvests them all when a button is pushed.

Here's a prototype of the top of the gold farm, this is just decor, most of the farm itself is underground :)

Would a gold farm work on the SG server?  I'm guessing that you can't go through the portals, but because the portal blocks exist, there is a chance that a Pigman will spawn next to it.  Looks pretty impressive!
