Hello and Welcome to the thread of my nests, and other random projects.

To start off, since I have made the daring escape from limbo, here is the dwelling with which I called home during my stay there:

Spoiler

And then on the opposite side of the ocean, in a Pine Forest I had my stone hut for my snowy adventures:

Spoiler

I hope you enjoyed the tour!

Very nice Nyxe! I especially like how you used sandstone slabs to make the logs and wool look like they were slabs as well (wish those were a real thing!). Can't wait to see what you do on the main map. :)

I wish they were as well! And thank you, it was my first time experimenting with the slab-furniture look, and I liked how it turned out :), it also brought a nice layered look to the house I was going for.

Thank you Tripp!  I did kinda go crazy building that think as soon as I arrived XD

So its been a couple months since I've built the library in SixtyCity, and I know many of you have already stopped by to see it, but finally here are some forum pictures of it!

The exterior:

The interior first floor:

The interior, second floor:

Spoiler

There are a few hidden nooks, and an entrance to my basement which are not shown.. So feel free to stop by and explore them all if you wish!  The library is open to the public, so please feel free to use the enchantment table, use and donate enchanted books, or use books and quills at any time!

I hope you enjoy!

I've visited before, and it's just as lovely as the pictures show. :)

Is there a "No Renics Allowed" sign?

You should put one of those up. Keep the riff raff out.

Well, I did fail to mention to enter at your own risk.  There is no photographic evidence of what happens in the basement....

I haven't bothered quite yet, I figured Tea would hold any riff raff at bay ;)

Well,  I thought its about time to post an update on my Pheonyxe Nest build since I haven't actually shared what is going on so far except to those who have visited.

So far, I have a roof over the Grand Library finally, So my books and any wooden structures I plan on building in there are now safe from fire damage, and I can work freely without snow building up.  Flooring plan has been laid out, and the four corners of the floor have been completed (save for the stone bricks in the floor will be replaced with chiseled stone bricks once I can gather enough to replace them all, or whenever Bukkit updates 1.8... whichever comes first)

I don't have many pictures, but without further ado, here they are!:

Spoiler

Still plenty of work to still be done on the library, but its coming together!  I may be adding a phoenix design on the roof, if I can figure out how I can make it work without being covered by snow.  There will be bay windows in the roof as well, to illuminate the entire floor that will be up there, though I have yet to figure out the purpose for said room.

Enjoy the progress, and feel free to stop by in game to check it out as well!

My one eye is closed so I can keep an eye on myself. The other eye remains cracked open so I can keep an eye on you. For you are beautiful and someone must hold a space for you to shine and live in complete freedom when you will not see. What this means in literal context is this: Each of my two eyes are looking 'at you' and 'for you'. – Dustin Strong
