And Now I think it's time I show a little of what I've been working on in the past two months.

My storage room:

Spoiler

And from the other side.

Spoiler

It fits 288 double chests, and each are accessible from the center floor.

I have 16 ovens in the floor, and they all deliver to a single chest under the under the hatch.

I am working on fitting a glass roof, and then make another set of chests above this one, but I'm still working on a way to get from the buttom to the top, that will fit in with the rest.

As you can see in the background of the second picture, I have plenty room in my castle. I will post pictures of the castle itself later, but right now it's still very much a work in progress, and not really worth showing off.

Thats awesome Boye!  I like the center arrangement with the ovens, everything very accessable :)

Really looking forward to more castle pictures!

I can feel the item frame lag from here. :S

I blame Ros. You crazies and your massive storage, you'll never fill all of those chests! Silly, silly people. ;)

Looks very nice though, Boye! Job well done! :D

I could've probably done better, but my paint skills are limited. And yes, I cropped Ros's profile picture in paint.

Can I have this on a t-shirt?

Nice work, Boye, that's some impressive storage! I really need to do something with mine.

And I now added some more chests to the thing, now it fits 360 double chests. They are not all filled, and probably never will, but it just feels nice to know that I can fit (almost) everything in one room.

i even managed to get 2 supersmelter over there on the right, and a perpetualt watertank under the trapdoor on the right in the center floor. And the 3 trapdoors on the left hold 3 brewing stands, for when I need a lot of potions fast.

I'm trying some different colors in each side, as it all looks almost the same, but i'm struggling with making it look good.

The glass roof is still on trial, but I might make a second story storage with another 240 double chests. This whole thing is still 26x26x8 blocks.

Spoiler

Thank you for the seal of approval. I should try to make that part of my avatar.

Tidy (adjective, not verb)! I like! Instead of a glass roof, may I suggest some sort of elevated glass walkway within the main area to get more vertical reach? Just a thought.

I made huge changes around the build. The basement is transformed after I visited Likliksnek and got some inspiration.

It's difficult to show the experience in pictures, but here are some samples. Feel free to visit to see it for real.

It's all one big room with everything mixed in. And lava!

Spoiler

a random cave with flowers under the floor.

Spoiler

And a tiny garden to one side.

Spoiler

And my zen floor with the cobblestone maker made of glass. The 16 oven supersmelter can be seen in the background.

Spoiler

stairs with a waterfall.

Spoiler

and the sweet spot.

Spoiler

I'll post some more when I get further. it's a whole new world opening up for me building like this.

I almost cried in laughter when I saw the 'Ros Seal of Approval'. It's a classic. That thing needs to spread over SG. LMAO
