Hello!

I'm Bkalinin, or Daniel in real life. Im a 16 year old male looking for mature server to spend my free time on. I currently live in Northern California in the US.

First off, yes, I am a very young, and that is why I prefer not to share my age with most, but nonetheless, this doesn't stop me from having a mature conversation or relationship with people on the internet. I like to think that I am (or act) more mature than most kids my age, and I also realize that I have much room for improvement as a human being in general. Either way, it seems like you folk are very open minded, so my age probably won't make too big a difference, judging from your rules page.

There's a number of reasons on why Id like to join your server. First off, (this should go without saying) this server looks amazing. While the system of applications and limbo look very tedious, it most likekly reaps very good results. Next, my internet speed and my ping recently became pretty bad, and my computer is a potato, so most of the games I used to play can't be played anymore. so Im looking for a new place to spend my free time at. And finally, I haven't played Minecraft for about a year, and I've recently realized that I miss a close community with other players on the internet ever since my favorite server (Betatude) shut down.

Overall I feel as though I'd fit in fairly well into the community that your server has. The only major issue that I might have here is that I have a sort of "speak when spoken to" mindset, and this causes me to be a bit quiet at times, but I am always looking for ways to improve and I can see myself changing that trait over time.

Random facts about myself - I'm Russian, I've played piano most of my life, big fan of Terraria, I'm a fan of conflicting genres of music (classical and trance), aspiring to be a mechanical engineer, and I love sheep for no apparent reason.

Overall, I feel as though I'd be a good fit in the community here. I look forward to (hopefully) spending time with the people of the server!

Also (since Im not quite sure where to ask this question, might as well post it here), does the server have logs? I hear that the server is honest-policy based and thats its worked out perfectly fine (which, BTW, is an amazing accomplishment. This kind of policy on other servers is flat out unheard of), but just in case your house gets blown up by a player gone mad, is there any way to have solid evidence against that person?

Hi! Welcome to forums.

Limbo does not exist anymore, we just dump you on the main map now.  HONESTLY SOMEONE NEEDS TO UPDATE THE INFORMATION PAGE! I was planning to become the co-admin just to do this then quit, lucky for all of us I didn't.....

Glad we cleared that. I am currently playing on a laptop with 4gbs of ram and a dying battery. I think you might be fine, ping wise I personally don't have issues from New Zealand when the server is located....... Somewhere in America? Not sure STACY?

Probably won't be a issue if you're a bit quiet. Just remember we are trying to get to know you while you are a applicant and a greenie beenie.

I hate sheep. There's four of them per human in New Zealand. I fear the sheep uprising at night.

I've been here for over a year now. There has not been a single house blown up during that time. I doubt there will be any in the future either. Ros is pretty good at keep bad eggs out. As for logs you're have to ask someone who knows how the server is run.

QUESTIONS!

  • Tea or Coffee? Choose wisely.
  • Have you read/watched GRRM'S Game of Thrones/ A song of ice and fire.
  • How's Russia.
  • Why do you not fear sheep like other sane men.
  • What do you like building and future projects.

So yea welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

-Tea shall reign supreme.
-I haven't, I'm really behind as far as books go (working on it though!) and I watch virtually no TV (apart from the occasional anime).
-I've actually never been to Russia, (prolly should've clarified), I've been in America all my life
-Who said anything about sane men? ;) I'm actually have no idea why I like sheep.
-I'm a big fan of building and redstone in general, although I'm not amazing at it. I usually just build little structures for myself or gather resources to help in community projects.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

Welcome to the forums!

The server is located in America, but that's all I know. You shouldn't have issues, there are many European (and surrounding areas) members who play just fine.

Also (since Im not quite sure where to ask this question, might as well post it here), does the server have logs? I hear that the server is honest-policy based and thats its worked out perfectly fine (which, BTW, is an amazing accomplishment. Yes, there are block logs, as far as I know. We almost never use them, but it's good to have an extra layer of protection.

Not a problem. We have many quiet members ;)

Good luck with your app, and stick around the forums!

Hi Daniel and welcome!

Being quiet aint a problem at all, there can be times when 5 or more peeps are online and just silently digging through the underworld. ;)  One time I saw a death message pop up and was like "what the hell?! When did he come on?"

Sheeps are awesome! Dont listen to this zac person! I have a bokk for you both you - For Zac cause he's a reading machine and for Daniel, because you like those fluffy creatures:

The sheeps of Glennkill by Leonie Swann

Enjoy and good luck for your application!

True, the sheep uprising could happen at any point in time, but do you seriously think we haven't prepared for it? We are properly equipped to suppress them with cruel weapons that attack the thing that these sheep hold dearest to themselves. http://img.alibaba.c...5272764_158.jpg

Ok lets do this. Round two of question time!

Mechanical engineering - I barely know anything about the field/degree in general, except for that it deals with a lot of things that I like and has a solid chance of landing you a job in something to do with machines. Although I might end up scrapping this idea, we'll see what the future will hold.

Favorite Book - I'd actually say its an encyclopedia that I loved when I was 6 called The New Book of Knowledge. It was the first "book" to ever get me interested in education in general. As far as novels, I'd probably say Catcher in the Rye or To Kill a Mockingbird. This might change, since Im not done with High School and I might come across some other book I might like (like I might end up liking Animal Farm).

Hobbies - Apart from games and anime, I'd say piano. I dont compose, only play, but its still very fun to do. The best part about it is being able to play some songs from anime on piano, since Japanese shows tend to have some amazing music.

Colour - Green (Hunter or Pine green if you want to be super specific). I just sort of always liked green, and it doesn't help that I'm 6'4 and all my friends call me Green Giant.

Build - Inverted skyscraper. And by that I mean a dirt shack with two decent sized "rooms" underground with walls of dirt and gravel. Obviously, nobody expects much from a first build. From these I sort of build terrible houses for about two years, and now Im a half decent builder. This is probably one of the best things Ive built so far, (https://i.imgur.com/MOcdXvP.png) but I'm also decently good with practical redstone designs. But, of course, I'm no master builder.

Might as well throw this in too, because hey, the more the merrier. Since I believe that music can say quite a bit about a person, I'll post up some of my favorite songs.

Slightly depressing trance song -

Upbeat & a bit generic Trance/House -

Upbeat & somewhat indie Trance/House -

Obviously this isn't all I listen to, but this is about as broad as I can get without giving you half my playlist. Plus, my actual favorite songs, Ive realized, sound so painfully generic to most who are familiar with the genre.
