well other than abstract i do a number of other things. lots of weird surrealism. I like to paint things that never existed to imply human issues, ideas, emotions .etc    so if you are into monsters and stuff you might like this. the painting i spoke of that has followed me around, originally inspired by a girl who left my life as fast as she enterd but left huge impacts on me as far as putting out lots of work.. so its been hard to finish this. but I shall.. its on a very weathered board mixed media, ink, oil, acrylic, pencil/coloured, spray. and the image above the figure is to be a triptych so there will be more imagery on the left.

also the picture doesnt give it much justice for the amount of detail that is actually there. i suppose i could take closer shots.. incredibly hard to paint this with all the grooves and gashes in the wood. such a challenge

Oooh, I like your style. It reminds me a bit of some of the fifteenth century triptychs I've seen in books. I've never tried to work on wood before, but as of of late it's become more and more appealing. First I have to use up some of my canvas I have it stuck in every corner of my room. :o The emotional work is always the hardest, I usually avoid it or never finish it. Kudos to you putting it out there.

A writer! Writing isn't boring, I've loved writing for as long as I can remember. Right now I'm drowning in notes for a concept I've been working on for...well, two years I guess it's been. Or longer if you look back to its earliest evolution (that was nine!). I would love to hear about your writing. :) What genre do you prefer? Mine has turned into a sort of fantasy infused sci-fi, though I have very little experience in sci-fi so it's a bit of a learn-as-you-go sort of thing. Do you have any favorite books? We have a lot of devoted readers here!

Welcome, welcome! I love your builds, very unique structures. I can certainly see the connection between your minecraft and lego styles. Best of luck, hope to see you in game soon!
