Just making sure my build does not interfere with the no pixel art rule. I have a creeper faced window, but I am considering taking it down (feeling 50/50 on the matter). What are your thoughts, should it stay or should it go?

I love watching parodies or humour about Minecraft since I am such a fan. Minecraft has so much potential, so just create the correct environment and story and you can live in another world! That is why I love Testificate News...

It is from the channel Element Animation. They make all sorts of Minecraft animations. But the Testificate News animations are the best for me! It is villagers broadcasting a news session about events in Minecraft, humorously so!
Anyone else here know of them or already a huge fan?

Minecraft 1.7 is out! Share your thoughts and experiences here and tell me how this update has changed your life....
I personally love the fact that high mountains are snowy and certain areas are rocky now.
Truly, these are cliffs! Not some dirty dirt cliffs...
"Roofed Forrest"... Are those....giant mushrooms?! It's amazing when you walk through it, so dark... <insert eerie music here>

Has anyone here played Hexxit on the Technic Platform before? I downloaded it today and played a bit. I got scared! Reminded me of my long addiction to Tekkit a while back. What are your opinions of Hexxit or other versions of modded Minecraft?

How does one psychologically evaluate the mindset of a person that griefs the hard work of another? Why does a person hack in order to make resources accessible to him/herself?
I recently got griefed on a pure vanilla server, and I hate to say it, but it felt like a part of me died when I saw my hard work in shambles. That made me wonder, what is the purpose behind griefing? Yes, I understand a person might want to grief in order to obtain materials, such as sticky pistons, lapis lazulli blocks, etc. But most of the griefing I have experienced were all just too... random...
Another question I have is why do so many people want to hack? The fun of the game is struggling and overcoming obstacles. That feeling of building something despite terrible odds feels amazing for me! Maybe I have just been hanging out on the wrong servers with a too young player base. I admit, I cheated in games until I was about 12 years old, but then I realized it took alot of the fun away
What are your thoughts of griefers/hackers?
