Seems i'm the only one here who think that it is better to have month pay for game, since it will scare away school children from playing it :)

Also it is additional motivation for developers to improve the game. And it means there will be less items which you can buy with real money in games (as it was in GW2)

And, anyway, it's better to pay 15$ each month for the game you will play a lot, than to lose 50$ per month for new games, in which i'll play for a few hours.

There is also games such as mc and cs, thought :D buy one time and play forever

Anyway. There is ESO beta keys giveaway right now

Don't forget new episodes of GoT Mac :D

April is no doubt the best month of the year, my birthday, our wedding anniversary and easter! (yours is the 20th right Mac? Hitlers birthday)

And mine, mine!

Also about quest in ESO and how "guided" you are. Easy quests with marker saying go there - was always a problem in TES.

But one of first quests in ESO giving a small hope that at least several quests will be not like "go there and kill that guy".
Namely there was a quest - "treasure hunt". In the beginning you recieve something like a short poem, and using it you need to find checkpoints which are not marked on the map. And actually i used more then 2 hours just running around trying to find this useless thing :D

More then that, progress in, for example Mages guild based not on quest for magic guild but on finding special books, which are also not marked on the map.

Most awesome thing about guilds (you can join all of them, at least in beta) is that benefit is.....additional branch of skills tree which are only available for guild members! Like that, mages guild give you possibility to learn smth like "meteor shower".

And it is also quite funny, because you don't need special level to learn skills ( it's not like "you need to be 30 lvl to use this skill"), you just need to find certain amount of books around the world :)

Skills progress is also implemented as in TES - your skills progress as much as you use them. And progressing in skills in one branch of skills tree allows you to use new skills from this branch (except guilds branches).

Of course it is different from TES, but i'm not sure that it is different in bad way. Only thing i hope for now, that it wouldn't be "optimized" for players of age 8-14 after release. If they just remove bugs from beta - it would be must play game :) at least for me :)

(hope what i'm saying is legal. Because they prohibit beta testers from leaking any material from the game. Not sure why, because as it is now - beta testers will only advertise ESO)

Rols just sent me a link to this conversation :)

I'm also very excited about ESO, especially since i played in massive beta test two weeks ago. And i was....awesome compared to all of others mmo.

TES never was a game with good main quest line. In skyrim all quests were quite boring.

At least in 2 days of beta i've got feeling that quests in ESO are better then in Skyrim.

Skills and class system is also quite good compared to other mmo. The main thing is "it is still TES, even thought it is mmo". You can create mage in heavy armor with 2 handed axe :) And even thought they implemented class system - it's not big problem. Currently there around 200 skills in the game and only 30 of them are class-dependent.

Meaning of beta testers was like "at least it is the best mmo i ever played" (trolls not included).

So...april april april..

And i heard that beta invites work on "event-base". So you can play only in event on which you was invited :) Not sure if ur beta invites still work.
