Cubefiend

Some of you asked for pictures of my work. Since i can't post there yet i'll do it here. I have been looking for good photo's but couldn't find any. I was a student back then and didn't have money for a camera. The few photo's i have are poorly taken and you can count the pixels, so i found some online.

This is castle Beverweerd before restoration:

The oldest part of the castle date back to the 13th century. At the core of the building the walls are over 3 foot thick. It was a total restoration, wich means everything from roof structure to foundations was re-done using traditional materials (mostly). The windows you see in the last pic were part of my final project for school. Working on this castle was literaly a childhood dream come true.

This one of dozens of buildings we did in Amsterdam. I didn't work on this one personaly but it does show a nice transformation. I dont know why they made the left pictures black and white, that is how the building looked when they started.

I live in Amersfoort wich is exactly in the middle of the country. It's one of the oldest city's in the netherlands and has quite a beautiful city center. It is a big city with a village atmosphere, a nice place to live.

I think the traditional substance used to glue chimeras together is unicornsperm.... not easy to get but totaly worth it.

All kidding aside, those are two beautiful cats. this is my pocket-tiger.

Thanks for the welcoming reactions boys and girls, its great to see you show some interest even tho new players aren't excepted at this point. Plus i can imagine you must be a bit preoccupied with the new map. From these few posts i can already tell i've found some likeminded ppl here.

@BobTWC: my father is a mason, and you are exactly right about what goes on behind those closed doors.

@WorldlyWalker: I still have my commodore64. It's in the attic and very dusty, but i still have it.

As i said, i understand now why a selection process is necessary. I will try to participate in the forums but it's gonna take some getting used to. I'm not much of a forum dweller, don't even know how to upload an image yet. I will figure it out tho and post an introduction with some pics and links for those who are interested.
