Greetings,

My name is Dulahey, or Derek in real life, and I am searching for a small to medium, tight-knit mature Minecraft server.  I am a 32 year old Civil Engineer from central Oklahoma who is married to a wonderful wife and has a nine month old daughter.

I began playing Minecraft during the free beta weekend.  Almost immediately, I searched out people to play multiplayer with.  I just don't enjoy single player Minecraft as much as multiplayer.  Me and my friends played using local servers for several months before they all stopped playing.  Fortunately, at about the same time they quit, Coestar had just started up his own multiplayer subscription-based server.  In case you guys don't know, Coestar was an early YouTuber that played Minecraft and had a very successful series, Coe's Quest.  He's currently a member of the Mindcrack gang.

Anyway, I played on Coestar's server for almost 3 years before the community slowly died from people losing interest in Mincraft.  Once Coe stopped his Youtube series, the number of applicants dwindled.  But for those three years, the server was amazing to me.  We really never had more than twenty active players at a time, but those twenty players all became great friends with each other.  We worked hard keeping the server aesthetically pleasing, while not having to deal with theft, PVP ganking, or griefing.  It was awesome.

Once everybody left, I took a break as well, but recently got the bug again and began looking for a server that was similar to Coe's.  Reading about SixtyGig makes me think you guys have exactly what I am looking for.

I know you didn't necessarily want build pics or anything, but I'm going to link to a video of Coestar's where he interviewed me and a friend of mine about a project we built.  The theme of the build is a little strange, haha, but it was a server specific story that evolved over time.  The main thing I remind people of, is that the server was indeed survival.  Zero creative features used at all.

I just want to show that video to express how much I love this game.  I am a hardcore builder, but much more importantly, I am a genuinely friendly mature gamer and I think we might just be a perfect match.
