Hi guys I am not sure if this should be in off topic or not but there is something I would REALLY like to do and I need your help.

I would like to make a short Minecraft movie. I have never done anything of the sort in my life but I have an inspiration and it is so strong it is haunting me and I gotta do it.

What I need are actors.

1 Main actor who will keep the same skin.
At least 5-6 more actors who will be using different skins.

Video length will be around 3:30. I have the shots I wanna do written down.

The whole thing should take about 2-3 hours, doesn't need to be in one stretch. I expect about 1-2 hours of shooting and maybe half hour after editing of reshooting some stuff.

Need to have vent.

I don't wanna say right now what it will be about cause it's a surprise but those in the loop will know of course.


So anyone interested in helping?

UPDATE : Forgot to add that voice acting will not needed so all the parts are silent for those shy about talking.

I know everyone is probably busy with their shiny new zones but before everyone starts building around the portal willy nilly shouldn't we have a plan?

As I currently have my zone solo and ever since I started playing Minecraft I always built alone, SixtyCity would be my chance to work cooperatively and see that side of the game.

The basics of what we will probably need are Shops, roads and a PvP arena.

Maybe we should reserve some space around the portal area for communal buildings.

I have to fly around to load chunks then use mcmap to make the image.


Is there a better way to load chunks? flying around is so slow even tho my fps is high

Coopenator 5000 is running at near peak efficiency generating about an egg per second. Will get better as I get more chickens inside the thing.

It has a bit lesser output that the 4000 model but has the advantage of being for the very lazy.

This will be an arena that can be used for spleef or standard matches.

I hope to be holding tourneys really soon!

But when I do I laugh about it for days.
