Why I would like to join Sixty Gig: I am relatively new to Minecraft, only playing for a few months now. I have spent the majority of that time Playing CTM (Complete the Monument) super hostile maps. I come from an MMO background of online gaming and enjoy the challenge these maps offer a player. As much as I love the challenge of CTM play I miss the other aspect of MMO gaming, being part of a community. I have tried a few servers and have been unable to find one that I felt I could be a long term player on. I am looking for a server with a mature community that I can continue my Minecraft experience long term with.

How I found Sixty Gig: I searched the internet for “mature Minecraft servers”.

How do I plan on playing: I am an explorer by nature so I would say that I will play more in a survival mode. However; I have been working on my building skills and enjoy creating homes, workshops and farms in all my survival games.

A little about myself: I am a married and a father of three (14, 11 and 9). I have been a gamer all my life and an online gamer for the last 15 years. I am an insurance regulator for the state of Kentucky. I was medically retired from the United States Marine Corps after stepping on a land mine during the 1991 Gulf War. It was a blessing in disguise I met my wife 3 months later and we have been together for 22 years now. I am a percussionist and have been playing since I was 10. I marched with the Canton Bluecoats International Drum and Bugle Corps for three years. I also “play” the guitar. Needless to say I love music! A few other hobbies…sports, fishing and reading.
