SG6 library

18 September 2013 - 08:13 AM

so I've been messing around in my head lately about the possibility of an actual server library...I meant for it to be a finishing touch to my present large build but obviously in light of the server update news that's not likely to happen. So what I want to know is when we get SG6 up and running would anyone else like to see a server library happen? I don't know why you would want it...I don't even know why I want it but if you do let me know. also would be helpful to get titles of real world books to transpose into MC that people would love to see, or even just genres, or better still plot lines, to create stories around these could even include our own personal exploits, which having seen the great horse move adventure I would love to see that in the library. but I digress, in summation 3 questions

1)would you like a server library after the move?

2)what books (titles, genres, plots, MC exploits) would you like to see in said library?

3)would anyone else like to join in?

and yes I understand the character limitations of the written books in MC I'm going to spend the next little while seeing if there is a way to make it work, It'll probably end up page by page, that'll be weird, I've written essays longer than what these books hold....oh well, where theres a will theres a possible point of entry, that may and or may not require blowing the ever-loving crap out of the obstruction in the most destructive way imaginable....or a front door, that'd work too

macastro17's big, humungous, epic teardown : 2013

Hey all SGers, its been a while I could go into the usual speil(?)...shpeil(?)...spiel(?)...hmm,have to look that up later. Anyway to sum it up in one quote "we've much to do and less time to do it in" and by "we" I mean " I ", the rest is self explanatory I think, to recap time is time, much to do means a lot of stuff needing to get done...ok, at any rate the builds I began a few months ago are nowhere near complete, nor do I have the time or ability to finish them before the 1.7 map reset (estimated time of completion being around 6+months...if all is well, which according to murphy won't be *shakes fist in air* MURRPHYY!!!). So instead of leaving empty husks of unfinished project all over a beautiful map for all eternity I've decided to end my projects and begin breaking them down. Unfortunately I simply don't have the time to complete that undertaking on my own as well so this is me asking for help from any SGers still in SG5 looking to collect relatively easy mats. This tear down includes my 'tree' hub-home outside SGcentral and my underwater build in I think delmega...I can't remember right now and can't access game to find out. right now this is for anyone interested its not much...bookshelves, mossy cobble, wood logs, quartz of all kinds, torches, snow, glow stone, sand stone, and various do-dads and knick-knacks between the two if anyone would like just keep an eye on this post the coordinates of each build and images should go up later today on this post as soon as I get a chance.

thanks in advance for anyone willing to help me remove these builds before the whole map gets immortalized. I just really can't complete it nor do I want to leave it up unfinished as a scar on a world everyone else worked so hard to beautify.
