For lack of drive at actually writing a ton about me, and because I just did it recently... I will post an excerpt from one recent writing of mine.
First off, there is a something you need to know before reading this; I don’t care for talking about myself, for a variety of reasons, most of which will be covered in this paper. Now, who am I? I’m a teenage heartthrob in a faux military uniform. I’m a geek to the core. I write, I read, I play video games in excess. I’m athletic. I bike and swim on a regular basis. I’m a friend. I have more people who come to me for solid advice than I could count on two sets of hands and feet. I’m a hopeless romantic with a jaded edge. I look, hunt, even, for love, but am often too cynical to see it. I care, perhaps a little too much. I worry myself sick over the affairs of close friends. I’m a chauvinist. My father raised me with chivalry and respect in mind. I’m forgiving. If someone I “hate” needs genuine help, I have no problems dropping the past for a little while. I’m structured. I live well on a set plan. I’m self conscious. I don’t care for most facets of Me. I’m fake. I put up a façade of confidence and sarcasm to drive people away. I’m awesome. I’m awful. I’m a human being.
