Here are a few pictures I found of a temple that I built a while back:

For redstone, most of my creations involved combination locks, creative doors, and auto-cannons. I also made a noteblock loop that plays the background hook from the song "Baby Got Back." (This was actually incorporated into a combo lock and used as a timing mechanism.)
