Previous Minecraft experience: About a year and a half

Your background:  As far as Minecraft goes, I am really enjoying trying to build medieval right now. I think my biggest opportunity is putting in the little details that make my builds look so much better. 

I'm looking for a community to get involved and play with, not just to play on a server.  I'm also looking for a place to continue to improve Minecraft skills

I am a father of a 2 year old son, and one day I hope to play, not only, Minecraft with him, but other games as well. I used to say that once my son beats me in a game of Madden, then I'll quit! I've come to realize that I'll play games long after that will happen will enjoy every part of it.
