My real name is Marc. I'm used to being called Lotwook in games, however doesn't really matter to me.

Previous Minecraft experience:

I've been playing for a few months (3-4 maybe?). Wouldn't call myself a master builder, but have fun getting better.

I play in 2 places at the moment:

The Final Score server - Part of Scott Johnson's Frogpants Community, which is a great community. The Minecraft server however is primarily young kids. All respectful because there is good values going around in that community, but finding it hard to relate to youngin's ;-)

Mincraft Me server - This is the public server off of the Minecraft Me show. I have a simple build there, I'm mostly there to check in and look at the builds they talkabout on the show. No serious commitment. Again mostly a younger crowd and they are not always very respectful.

When I build I tend to use the landscape in a (very bad) Frank Lloyd Wright kind of way I guess. I'm fairly new to the game so that might change over time.

Your background:

I'm married with 4 australian shepards and 7 chickens (no kids). My wife and I do some support work for the Aussie Rescue organization as well as provide donated food to local animal shelters.

Work:

I work as an IT Service Manager at a large IT company.

Hobbies:

I play the drums, not professionally mostly as a hobbie.

Music - I love good improvisational music. Spent much of my younger years on Phish tour (no I'm not a dirty hippie! :-)  just really love the music and it was a great way to see the country. 

Gaming - Outside of Minecraft I am part of the Alea lacta Est guild (again offshoot from Frogpants). I spent a lot of time playing WOW in a semi-competative guild. Lately pretty dormant in other games though.

Why I want to join:

Basically I like being part of a good community to have fun with and from what I've read on your site it looks like this group maintains the values I'm looking for. I'm looking to connect and make new friends, not just build a building and stare at it. We can all do that in single player mode
