I agree with the lighting thing, more variety in lighting methods would be great. I would also love to see more functionality for minecarts and boats, with docks/stations etc to make them a more viable method of travel. I usually always plan, whenever I start a new build to have it all linked with rails and use minecarts to get around, but there is a heck of a lot of gold that goes into making powered rails and no easy way to change track directions on the fly.

I love to find a plains biome with a river flowing through it, even better is anything coastal, I love to build seaside, especially if there is a river flowing into the ocean there and maybe a few small sandy islands just offshore.

Vechs Super Hostile series because I'm a sucker for punishment. He's also really good at level design, difficulty curve and pacing, as well as lulling you into a false sense of security before maliciously destroying everything you ever held dear.

I like when a particular piece of landscape or view catches my eye and something instinctive takes over. I stand staring at the potential building site for hours until something snaps, inspiration strikes and I am totally and wholly consumed by a force intent on imposing its design upon the world using me as its obedient little puppet until hours, days, weeks later I lay exhausted but strangely euphoric staring up at the very expression of creative genius that first called to me on that fateful day when first I laid eyes upon the place.
