So I stumbled across this song and thought it epic...

A coworker of mine told me that her wedding anniversary is today, and she was freaking out about it.  Haha...I'm not superstitious at all but it got me thinking.  Is anyone here superstitious? Like do you have any "rituals" you do on a day such as this? (To ward off the evil spirits of course ).

At work there is regularly maintenance happening on the roof, so of course a ladder is posted up against the wall.  When I go out for a cigarette and see this, I usually walk under it simply out of spite...like, "screw you evilness, I ain't afraid".

As of today a new snapshot has been released! It's snapshot 13w36a.  It say's on mojang.com that the new features are a secret, so I'm not gonna spoil it for you either.  But let's just say a lot of you are going to be super excited when you see the new stuff!  Also, it says not to run the new snapshot on any existing worlds as it will cause funky borders when new land is generated.  But check it out!!!!

So who uses the greatest OS of them all? I do! 100% exclusive Linux user here.  I use Arch Linux, a very bare bones distro that allows for customization of every part of your machine.  Any other Archers out there?

My name is Brian but everyone and their cat calls me Blum.  I am a coffee drinker.  Black.  Well, sometimes with whiskey (sometimes I forget to put the coffee in there, whoops).  So, that's all you needed to know, right? Automatically accepted!  

Ok, serious time now.  After reading though everything on this site, I actually have butterflies while writing this.  I feel like I have to make this application perfect.  I can see this opportunity to be a life changer...honestly.  Looking around, I can see how friendly and open everyone is.  I'm sure many of the friendships formed here will last for an eternity.  It's a really cool thing to think about.  Anyways, that's what I'm actually looking for...a place to call home.

Let me tell you a bit about myself (this is probably going to be a jumbling of random thoughts as I'm not too good at describing myself).  I'm a 28 year old bachelor from the good ol' armpit of California, USA: Fresno. Yay for me!  I'm currently still in school, on the 10 year plan for obtaining a Computer Science degree.  I love computers, but hate Windows.  I am a die-hard Linux user; Arch Linux to be exact.  I love programming. C is my language of choice.

I am quite a sarcastic person.  I can dish it out like no other.  I can also take it, so feel free.  As an FYI, sometimes my humor can get a bit out of control so if I ever offend someone, please tell me and I will respect that.

I'm not a gamer--not in the least.  Other than Minecraft, I haven't played a video game since PS1.  I simply don't like games; they don't hold my interest.  Minecraft, however, is not a game. It's an addiction.  I found Minecraft through YouTube four or five months ago when I started watching paulsoaresjr's "How to Survive and Thrive" series and was hooked instantly!  In less than a week I went through all the videos in his series, following along with the same seed.  I love that guy, and still watch his videos daily.  (It's the same with many of the other MindCrackers, so I hope there's no haters on here )

If I'm not at work or school I'm on my computer either playing Minecraft or watching others play.  I average about six hours daily.  I'm not too much of a builder, but I get by.  I more enjoy exploring and adventuring.  I have yet to experience caving with others but, as of now, that's my only goal in life.

So to sum it all up: I drink coffee.  I am sarcastic.  I play Minecraft.  YAY!
