Post your Desktop!

A lot of people who player computer games generally are rather good with computers. Considering Minecraft is a rather creative game. That makes all of you stereotypically creative and good with computers. So, show us what you can do with both! Post a screenshot of your desktop, customized or basic. I believe a person's desktop reflects their personality; so post away!

I'll start:

I like to keep things simple, but not necessarily minimalstic.

Your awesome interests!

21 January 2014 - 02:16 PM

Hello fellow forum members! As a result of an epiphany given to me by Koplee. I'm going to start a discussion thread.

What are your awesome interests or hobbies?

My awesome interest is Adventure Time! Here's a box I had to make in a design and technology class with some software and a laser printer. How about you guys, is anyone else a die hard fan of a stupid cartoon? Or do you have your own interests you consider to be awesome? Do you share awesome interests of other members? Or do you disagree with their title of awesome? Post away!

(I was pushed for time because of my holiday. Shamefully it was never actually finished.)

Forum Games - One more : Laugh and you LOSE.

20 January 2014 - 02:40 PM

Unfortunately the public forum appears to be a beast that devours all posts. Once a select few people have participated in the games I have attempted to start, in the hope that I will be able to get to know the community they fall into the background to quietly die.

So here is a game, that I believe will suffice. Unlike the rest, replying may be considiered the key to winning this game.

The game itself is simple, laugh and you lose.

 - Each forum member who has decided to participate, must post one picture that they consider to be funny.

 - Once you find a picture that makes you laugh, you are not out of the game. But you have indeed lost.

 - Take revenge by posting a picture as a response, in an attempt to do the same to your foe.

In theory, the thread should become funnier and funnier with responses.

A quick note: If your picture has something to do with the picture above, the level of humour only rises. And thus increases your chances of making people "lose". *HINT OF WHAT TO DO*

(Also try to avoid anything that make cause offense to other people, however funny you may find it. Also note: Internet humour is going offend some people in some way. If you find the images on this post upsetting, insulting or at all negative you are welcome to avoid this post. Just a warning.)

Memes work good, but do try not create yet another battle of memes on the internet. Or do.

To begin.

The Elder Scrolls Online!

18 January 2014 - 12:20 PM

The Elder Scrolls Online

I recently remembered that I had an alternative email account logged on in Gmail and realised I hadn't checked my emails for weeks. Upon checking them, what do I see? Only an invitation to The Elder Scrolls Online Beta testing. I had completely forgotten that I had signed up for this, literally as soon as I heard about it. I'm excited beyond description and can't wait for the launcher to update. This brings me to the reason for this topic.

Who else on the forums is interested in ESO, and who else is lucky enough to have been invited to Beta?

Basically a general discussion page for all things ESO.

If you want to sign up for the BETA, you can do so here. Although note it's close to release so the BETA might not be up much.

If you are interested in the game, and have read a bit about it here what do you plan to do once it is realised? What kind of character will you play?

If you're not interested, why? What doesn't appeal to you?

A Quick Question

16 January 2014 - 10:43 AM

So I feel as if I'm over exciting myself about the server. I'm trying to tell myself there is a high chance it will be months until I gain access, or I simply won't.

So a quick question:

Does the system still uses votes per member to decide on a succesful applicant(s)? Or is it purely application based.

Danke,
