Hullo there!

I've recently started my first real project on the main map, and to ensure it all goes smoothly, I decided to make some concepts in creative mode.

As you might already know, I like to replicate dwarven cities such as Moria and the lot.

Lots and lots of stone, enormous halls, pillars, et cetera.

Here's a bunch of screens of the entrance gate that I made today.

I couldn't find a similar thread on this forum board(if it does exist, please be gentle Mr. Moderator :U), so obviously I made one

Anyway, share your daily experiences / gossips / things you want to share / pictures of your cat/dog/bird/kitchen appliances and so on

To kick off, today was a pretty slow day. Went to the dentist for the annual checkup and then had about one hour of class at college before going home...

That said, it's cold at home as the heating's not working properly

Hey guys, this server was recommended to me by a friend (I believe it's this guy) because the server I used to play at lost many members after a shutdown.

That server was quite a lot like this one: Friendly, supportive and careful community, adult community, hardly any rulebreakers, et cetera.

Therefore I'd like to apply for a spot on this server.

Real name:     Robert (but just call me Snate or Snates ingame )

Previous experience: I've played the game since early 2010, so I suppose that says something.

I know you guys don't really care if someone's a good builder or not, but I'd still want to say that I loooooooooveeee underground cities, Dwarven-styled.

Background: I'm a fun and nice dude that likes not-very-serious games such as Dwarf Fortress and Kerbal Space Program(essentially the Fun from DF strapped to rockets). I like almost any type of music, play the guitar, and so on, ad nauseam.

Oh, and I'm Dutch. 

I'm very social and enjoy working together, helping people out, even if I don't profit from it.

I'm a big chemistry nut(and student), so if you ever need to....dispose of...organic matter..Just give me a call.

Oh, and I like purple. (This kind, not this kind.)

I'm like one of those cartoon characters with a wardrobe full of the same clothes. That's me. Purple jackets for life, yo.

I could go on and on about little traits of myself, and I saved the best for the last:

Like many of you, I have this folder on my hard drive, cleverly hidden beneath some other folders.

It has a rather large filesize and is filled with hundreds upon hundreds of images....of birds.

Yes, the things with feathers and a beak, not the slang word for the middle finger.

Anyway, those things aside, I chat a lot. I've been banned once for talking too much(and learned from that, but the admin was drunk so it probably wasn't my fault at all).

I'll often pop up with silly comments or very strange humour(hardly ever offensive though ) and let me know if you don't like that.

Something else rather important: I have this very weird energy deficiency that makes me fall asleep quite randomly. So if I randomly leave the game(usually I can see it coming), that's me taking a powernap.

Erm, if anyone's still reading after that word wall up here: Any questions? (Seriously I love talking, talk to me! )

On a more serious note: I'll always stay positive, no matter what happens. I've had cases of being really angry and euphoric at the same time.

Now, if you'll allow me, I'll go socialize on the forums for a bit. Hope I'll be able to see you on the server soon
