Real Name/Preferred Name: Well as my user name suggest my first name is Ruben. The 'B' is the first letter of my surname, and the 994 the last digits of by birth year. For the quick mathematicians that indeed makes me 19 years old. Besides the name Ruben/rubenb994 I also go by the name of 'The Walrus' because of the fact that I've had a walrus skin since Minecraft beta was released.
Previous Minecraft experience: As far as MC experience goes I call myself a real hardcore player. After a friend, which I met through a Nintento DS community , messaged me about this new weird indie game, I really got into playing Minecraft. I think I started playing when the Halloween update was released so that would be Alpha 1.2.0. With a few breaks here and there I have basically have played my craft for 4 straight years. If I had to put myself into a category of MC player, I would put myself into the builder/redstoner category. From childhood on I have always had an certain fascination for architecture, Minecraft became a great way to express and achieve all these ideas for building I had. Your background: After hopping from server to server and playing a lot of single player in my early days of minecraft I eventually settled on a server hosted by my old economics from High school. After about a year a lot of the friends I played with on the server started losing interest, so me and the remaining active players moved to a server called Mineguild. After being staff and an extremely active member of the community the server started losing players due to the fact that the server owner did not fix bugs or payed any attention to the server. Eventually this led to 85% of the staff leaving (including me) in 2 days and most of the Admins at that time started their own server which split community into a lot of different groups. From that moment on I haven't really been active on any server any more. I am a big fan of Mindcrack server and watch quite a few of the guys which play on it. I realized that I needed something like Mindcrack, a server where there are no screaming kids or the folks which speak standard-12-year-old-internet-english a.k/ 'LOL CUM 2 me Bro' , I needed a server where decent nice and somewhat mature people played. I think this community fits the maturity and fun I am searching for. Ooh and I saw that there is some on going battle between tea vs. coffee lovers. I am a great fan of hot water has long has it has dripped through some fresh grinded coffee beans.

And some real life things about me: I am currently a first year Mechanical Engineering major, I love playing my guitar and listing to weird Alternative rock and from time to time I like to run a few miles to clear my head.
