Mellute

Hey everyone!

While I am very new to the server as well as Minecraft itself, I learn very quickly so documenting my progress will be interesting to see down the line. Below is a small open house I am working on in creative mode. as you can see I have built a bridge/platform that allows me to walk on it but zombies and other nasties cannot. I am aware that a mob of zombies could potentially get in by pushing one another or a spider leaping to attack me, but those would be isolated instances and free xp points for me to grab Building this on the server would take me quite some time since I have yet to venture into the nether and find precious glowstone which is a huge feature of this build. Until I venture into the Nether, Jack-O-Lanterns will have to suffice.

Oh hey a piece of carpet is missing :< Oops.

I tend to be very symmetrical when I build >.<

Hello everyone, Mellute here!

My name is Alex (girl), but feel free to just call me by any shortened version of my username. In one month I will be 22 years old and it seems like yesterday I just turned 18...so I have no idea where the time went. Oh yes, college. That's is where the time went. Currently I am studying Music Education in Texas and while I am not even close to graduating yet I sure have spent enough time there to feel exhausted.  That is why I am filling out this application! I want to be in a mature minecraft community where I can continue to learn how to play the game. I learn very quickly and ask plenty of questions so the likelihood of me breaking a rule is ...none. I don't break rules.

I started playing minecraft about two weeks ago... For a long time my mom kept talking about minecraft and I would tell her "No, no...I'll get addicted." However, she bought me a card for my account and bam....I was right. I love this game! Oh and my mom is ecclamw.

I know that is not very long but I have learned a bunch so far. Creepers don't scare me that much anymore which is saying a lot. When I first started I was so scared of the mob that I would run back into my dirt shelter, put out all my torches in my inventory before the sun got anywhere close to setting. I nearly lost all my hunger waiting for a spider to leave my shelter before finding out they are nicer during the day. Silliness aside, I already know how to do most of the basics. Anything I don't know about I ask the wiki first. 

Hope to get to know everyone and have a fun time if I am accepted.

And yeah, I still get scared of exploring caves.... Haha.
