Before getting into the actual application, I wanted to start off by commending you on both what appears to be a very well thought out application process, as well as the processes of monthly check-ins, and different worlds (limbo, wilderness, main server etc.) You said it took a lot of effort to implement, and it definitely shows. Kudos to you, and all that help in the running of what seems to be a pretty nice server.

...But I digress, onto the task at hand.

AGE: 21

Where am I from: I am just your average humble Canadian gamer. Lived in Ontario my entire life and I wouldn't have it any other way. Its beautiful here, and if you have never visited, I highly recommend it!

Past gaming history: Being of a younger generation I grew up playing PlayStation. Got my PS1 at a very young age, and I was hooked. Huge fan of FPS games and the 007 franchise, and I still to this day have every possible 007 or 007 related game to ever be released for PlayStation. A few years ago while away at College, my now best friend introduced me to a game, that has forever changed my perception of free roam and sandbox style gaming. That's it folks, you guessed it! It was MINECRAFT ! I have played at least once a week for the past 3 years and am absolutely and unequivocally hooked on MC.

Why do I want to join SixtyGig: I have played on a number of servers throughout my MC history, and it has not always been pleasant, in fact the majority of them have either been poorly run, or poorly monitored (I suppose both are entirely the same thing). I have only recently (within the last 3 months) tried searching for adult only or 18+ servers. I have been playing on one for about a month or so now, and I absolutely love it, unfortunately many of the members have left in the last few weeks and it appears as though the server may be shutting down. However the maturity of the members is vastly superior to any other server I have been on, as well as it has been much easier to connect and become friends with those who share the same perspective and expect the same level of maturity as I do while gaming. I figure its as simple as the old "You've got to give respect, to earn respect." 
In addition to simply wanting to be part of a more mature minecraft community, I have read over a lot of the forums as well as the Rules and About Us threads and am genuinely impressed with the manner of organization and work put into running this server. I would very much like to be a part of it, as I feel it would be a good fit for my needs, as well as I would bring some unique builds and yet another friendly personality to the community.
 

About Me: As I stated i'm 21, currently working a pretty basic retail job while I go to school for my real estates license. I have a love of houses, and architecture in general. I suppose that's why I have such a love for MC. As far as a personal life goes, I'm a pretty average guy. After work I either come home to my dog and play a little MC, or go out for a few cold ones with the guys. On weekends I like to go to a variety of sporting events, Baseball, football, hockey, rugby... basically you name it, i'm probably down to watch it, play it, or at least give it the old college try! Other than that, I have a woodworking hobby and a general affinity for working with my hands. I used to draw cartoons and comics as a kid so I guess I could be considered a bit of an artiste, and then that progressed into a lot of woodburned designs when I started woodworking. Among another few quirky traits and hobbies that pretty much sums me up. I mean, I can't divulge all that is ME, there has to be some allure of mystery... am I right ladies? 

As far as this application goes, I hope that was enough. I would very much like the opportunity to give this server a try, and look forward to hearing your decision.
