Snugg_7 Was Here!

08 November 2014 - 06:53 AM

Hello everybody!  Snugg_7 here.  You're welcome to call me Mario or Snugg.  Thought I would stick my head in here and say hi.  I'm new to the SixtyGig Family and I'm very excited about it.

It's been awhile since I have played.  There will be some getting use to things.

I recently just went to the Grand Canyon for the first time!  Here are some pics that you might like.  Taken with a Canon 7D SLR.  My wife took these pictures.  She is pretty good.

See you in game!

The Application of Snugg_7

13 October 2014 - 10:48 AM

In Game Name: Snugg_7

Real Name/Preferred Name: Mario/Snugg_7 or Mario is fine.  I answer to both!

Age: 40 !!!

Previous Minecraft experience:

It's been around a year since I have last played.  Some health concerns with my Father took priority over my free time.  So I wouldn't consider myself a new player, although I understand that MC has changed since then.  Primarily when I play, I do so for the social aspect of the game as well as satisfying the ever so strong urges of my digital ADHD.  I love building.  I have had experience with both survival as well as once being an admin on a server solely for the purpose of building for them.  Luckly, I didn't have to deal with any of the player concerns such as grieving and player complaints.  I had it easy!  Oh you want a structure 800x1000?  Sure I can do it!  And off I went!  Armed with a //wand and fancy g code and commands, I went to town.  Loved it!

With all that experience, I have to rightfully admit, my favorite build time was when I was in survival.  There was more satisfaction in my builds and the bonds I made with other players.  I got to spend more time actually enjoying the game and the great people online, rather than spending all my time with building commands and designs.

My Goals on this server if accepted:

Although I'm "old", I'm young at heart.  I look forward to the connections that will develop with like minded individuals.  Expressing creativity in what I consider to be a pretty great game, while Having fun with the social aspect side of things.

*SQUIRREL*

*Is that Copper over there?*

Meeting new people, having fun, making friends and most of all, continue to enhance what is already a great looking server.

I want to state that although I have experience as admin, I do not want, do not expect or want to be anything close to mod of any kind.  I'm just here to have fun and contribute to the community in an equal manor.

Your background:

I married my dream girl, the girl I had a crush on in high school nearly 20 years ago... this last November!  So it will almost be a year.

I work full time as a Director of Facilities at a private Golf Country Club. I have worked there for 11 years. Yes the perks are amazing.  Very relaxing to be able to get a cart and go out and hit some golf balls.  I tend to lose a few in the tall grass and lakes here but that's okay.  I consider it an even trade when I find a ball somebody else lost!

Do you ever watch those Youtube videos of the guys jumping their bikes over the huge dirt jumps in competitions or at some random bike park?  Well, that's what I love to do when I'm not with my wife or gaming.  Unfortunately, I just took a good fall and dislocated two fingers on my left hand, breaking my ring finger and fracturing my right elbow.  I consider myself lucky though!  It could have been much worse.  My helmet didn't fare too well, it broke.  I will have to hang it in the garage as a reminder of what not to do next time.  I'm leaning toward the idea of not riding that style any longer and I am of course older and have my health to be mindful of.  Honestly, the though of stopping that style of riding scares me.  I love it, I have done it since I was around 10 years old.  It is such a big part of my life that losing it tends to effect you almost like losing a pet.  Maybe they have an Dirt Jump Anonymous Group I can join.. lol  DJA.  *Hello, my name is Mario and I'm addicted to Dirt Jumps*  I have never been into taking videos or posting things until recently.. figures huh, now that I wrecked hard and thinking about stopping, I video and take pics!  Anyway here is a vid, these are about 25' long jumps.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to seeing you on the forums for now!
