Hello all,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will be shutting down the SixtyGig server. The forums will remain until Ray decides to close them down. The server will be online and active until March 31st, 2016.

There are still several ways to continue to keep in touch with SixtyGig and it's community. You'll still be able to post on the forums, obviously. There is also a Sixty Gig steam group that's available. You'll have to message Ray to be invited to that, to my understanding. Several of us are on Facebook and the like too.

I'm preparing a full SixtyGig download as I type this. As soon as it's available, I'll post the link to it. It may take some time though so please bear with me. Take care everybody.

Alright everybody, with the holiday season over and everybody settling down - I've decided to put out a call for volunteers. I need folks to review and update all of the informational pages here on SixtyGig. A lot has changed since they were last updated and I need you to help, if you have time!

The following pages need to be reviewed and updated:

How you can help:

1. Review the page.
2. Make note of anything that is different.
3. Rewrite the page so that it has accurate information.
4. PM me your rewrite of that page.

Your PM title should be the name of the page. So, ideally, your PM will look like this:

Message title: SixtyGig Join Page

Message body: Your rewrite of the join page.

i'll strikethrough the pages as they are completed and updated. I'll also post here advising of the update. Your help is appreciated. Now get to work! *cracks whip*

As things are finally settling down for me, I'm going to start getting in the groove of things again here. Maintenance is scheduled for this Saturday, October 3rd and will consist of member promotions and a reset of the Nether. Please be sure to remove your items from the Nether as soon as possible in preparation for this. In the future, I will try to give at least one week notice before any resets that will happen. Future notices will be posted in this thread and updated in the Shoutbox as well. Thank you.

I have made donations available again. All money donated will go towards the operation of the server. At present time, our server only costs $15/mo to maintain. Please be aware that Paypal takes 2.9% + 0.30 of every transaction. Do not feel obligated to donate, but if you feel compelled, feel free.

Thanks for all of your patience during the administration transition and on-going server adjustments. You have all been an amazing community to be a part of and continue to work with. Thank you for having patience with me as this month has been incredibly hard on my family.

I mentioned in another thread as an off-handed comment, but if anybody is familiar with plugin operation and has time/energy to devote I am more than happy to take on a co-admin to deal with some of the maintenance and adjustments. This is not something that I'm in dire need of, but if anybody has time to volunteer and is interested, please PM me.

Rosleen asked me today if I could either expand the Wilds border by 500 or just reset the Wilds. I haven't been on The Wilds lately so I'm not sure how mined up it is. Is it worth resetting at this point for the chance to get new biomes? Or would you rather just expand our current border a little?
