bitfreeze's

Hello, my Minecraft name is bitfreeze, although I'm usually know as bit, or simply B.

I'm male, 36 years from Rio, Brazil.

In the real life, I'm an IT consultant and programmer, and addicted to puzzles and challenges, in games that require you to think, and found in Minecraft a nice tool to have fun and explore endless possibilities by creating redstone circuits and machines. It reminds me of other good old games like Incredible Machine and Myst.

I'd spent a while to find a suitable server to play in MP, and found a somewhat good one. Useful plugins, some nice people, but laggy sometimes and worst, bad support (teenaer admins/mods with an attitude)...
So a friend I made in that server, also upset about the sometimes harsh and intolerant words from the mods, recommended Sixty Gig. I've read the info pages and liked it, specially about mature players, and also the existing system to earn places where to build, the plugins, etc. All that provides an image of the world where he and I want to play. I've just got here (sadly before 1.9) but willing to join my friend, who's in Limbo already.

My friend and I have been building a fun town in this other server, and now we're adding elements of a big puzzle to it. However, it'll be reset when it's released a stable version for Bukkit for and all the essential plugins they have installed. Since then, we took the chance that the server worlds are being reset, so we've been looking for a better place to stay. And another friend (even older than me) also wants to find a better place, with more mature people. The three of us have been planning outside the game (through IRC and online groups) about building something big together, but it's worth more investing in a place where we're respected.
