having problems connecting to the server

Hello everypony^^

Well to jump right to it, I have been getting time out errors trying to connect to the server for some time now. I'm trying to search other forums to find out what my problem might be, but I still haven't found my solution yet.
If anyone can shed some light it would be great. All I can say is that it stated right after that last patch.

I want to join because I am having my arm twisted off from my friend who also is playing on your server (Satcey Malone "AKA" srm86).
Also playing on a multiplayer server is heap loads more enjoyable than solo.If I do get accepted I have sooo many projects in mind I wanna build.
one of them is a caslte, but a specific one from Ultima Online. then I plan to build a catherdral from wow. the one in Scarlette Monestary! I could go on, but then i'd get carried away and you'd be like TL;DR. just the sheer amusement of building and playing with redstone push me to create.
