I'm no techy but what the plan to fix the server lag? It had gotten really bad, to the point that if there are more than 3 or 4 people on you have to place the same block over and over or mine through the same blocks several times. I understand that running a server is not free. So I personally wouldn't mind donating to get the server upgraded but as it stands something needs to be done. Its good to see we are getting new players onto the server but we can lose them just as fast as they came if they don't have fun due to extreme amounts of lag.

with the development of so many players creating monster grinders something needs to be done about the lag they produce if players go afk for to long while sitting at the grinder. If not all players are aware sitting at a grinder will cause block lag on the server. The longer the person sits with out killing the monsters the worse the lag becomes. Something along the lines of not running a grinder for more than 20min at a time before throwing a potion or what ever you use to kill off the monsters. Today 6/8/2012 We had an incident where NotBasic was afk for over an hour at his grinder. The lag was so bad that no one could use red stone devices such as rails or doors. Things like this can cause players to not enjoy the server.
