Why you want to join?
Just bought minecraft less than a week ago and started playing some single player and found it to be too quiet
I have some ideas that I wanted to make but thought it's just not the same if there's no one to see it. Looking forward to making some amusing contraptions with redstones and maybe someone can help me if I can't get it to work.

Survival, it just doesn't feel the same with everything handed to you. I'm sure most of you should understand the sense of accomplishment when you work hard on something.
