Since i got the impression that 60 gig very much encourages it's (prospective) members to get to know one another on various levels i thought i share some more. Didn't add it to application to make the application succinct and focused on Minecraft.

I am into many things. Playing guitar/bass, singing, writing, reading, Linux, Game Of Thrones, LOTR, playing tabletop D & D (20 years and counting), music and live concerts: everything from happy Reggae to The Cure to intense political Punk and Metal. Total movie buff. Generally enjoy helping and teaching people and learning from others. Digg Ancient Rome and Greece. Watching and teaching a bit of MMA and BJJ. Bicycles and bike tech. I worked for a bike shop for some years, briefly had my own and also did a little bike messaging. In daily life i only work 20 hours a week. I am the head of the Audiovisual Department at an Art Academy (being the head guy is not so impressive since i am the ONLY guy Basically that means doing acquisition and technical support on anything that has an electrical plug. Film lights, HD Cameras, Editing Computers and so on.

I live in an Intentional Ecological community. Nope, we aren't stanky hippies! ;-P Basically we bought this huge industrial building and converted it into living spaces as well as work spaces. We rent out the ground floor to everything from Karate and Irish folk dance groups to a welding shop and vegetarian restaurant. Living here is amazing and cheap. Also 20 kids live here and though don't want any of my own two out of my four best friends are fifteen year old kids. We had our own Minecraft server together for a while! I teach them MMA. Once upon a time i was a bit of a vegan, punky kid and left leaning activist, who was hell bent on improving the world. I didn't do too bad in that regard.

I am curious about you guys and gals! I already noticed that GreenishTroll is a helpful dude (and plays Minecraft with his son, Awesome!) and that there is girl on here that shares the exact same birthdate and year as I, never had that happen before. Hope to find out what you are into, why you all wish to kill this Dan? character and if you agree with Conan that "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women" is best in life... or perhaps there are other things that make you tick he he?

The 76 in my name is birthyear, so that makes me 35. Real name Vincent. I live in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Want to join because i have been playing games for 28 years since i got my first C64. Been playing MC for a long time. I have played on countless servers but have always been slightly unsatisfied. Most of the servers were short lived, had drama, overcrowding, lag, no realism/many hacks etc. Of course i appreciate the massive amount of time it takes to run a server, but i always felt there might be something more and better out there. A server with more mature players, committed community, talkative people (i often love to talk and joke while playing!) and this one seems to fit the bill perfectly!

Other reasons i want to join:

-I saw fellow Dutchies here.

-I love the Plot system, that way everyone can build and admire each others work yet not interfere with one another.

-This website and forum (both content and massive amount of work gone into to it) convinces me that the Server is run by super committed people who truly love gaming and community and have very similar preferences as my own.

-I found the server by searching 'Mature Minecraft server' in Startpage.com.

I would really like to play survival, i always have. On all servers, I have refused all tools and starting kits, have never cheated, and like to just tough it out. That makes the gameplay risky, exciting and ultimately satisfying! Oh and i don't want to make it seem like i am this amazing MC player. On the downside i am not one of these super fast builders that will reproduce the Taj Mahal in two days flat ha ha! I enjoy smaller houses and construction, exploring and adventuring more than mega build projects. Hope that is ok.
