I am Porcelana, or Alex in real life. I'm a 25 year old woman from Colorado, US. I am a graphic designer in my real life, and I love anything creative. I formerly studied English and Education, as I wanted to teach. I speak Spanish, and English. Most importantly, I have a nerdy little passion for gaming! In my time gaming, I can't help but come back to Minecraft for relaxation and fun, which right now is all I need in my life. I found out last year that I have cancer, and I have been fighting that demon in my real life since. I'm fine, don't get me wrong, but I do need a safe haven to just enjoy my pass time and have fun. So I play MC!

The trouble I have found playing MC is that I can't find a server to call home. I have spent countless hours looking for a server that suites my needs or desires when it comes to playing Minecraft. It is such a hit and miss kind of operation. You may find the server with the plug-in(s) you want, but a horrid community or set of administrators. That actually happens to be the case, or so it has in my experience. I've been on servers where no one got along, where no level of respect was achieved between players. Admin abuse, rampant immature players, and people willing to destroy your hard work. I can't stand it!

I love being able to build in comfort that I don't have to have everything so far protected that a friend can't pitch a hand without an admin having to change this or that. Or having to go through unreal measure to hide something precious to you. I want to be able to freely play the game, and enjoy the affect of sharing what I create with others. I love seeing what other people have built, to see how amazingly creative the mind really can be. I love being able to log in and share the experience with people who can appreciate the work you have done, not want to ruin it. I also enjoy helping others, and building friendships.

I found this server by searched for days. I went through lists of servers, read any forums or reviews I could find. I kept passing over everything. However, I gave up on looking at lists and got a little whimsical. I decided to literally type exactly what I wanted into Google, and viola. SixtyGig showed up, and I browsed around. I read the testimonials, the process of application, rules, and anything I could see. This server reads as a very respectable, fun loving but structured place to be, and I'd love to have a chance to be a part of that. My intent would to be playing survival, if I were to be accepted.
