Already on season 2, episode 5. Have not been able to stop. The character has an aura about her that makes it hard to look away. The Christmas Lunch Incident is my best so far.

 

 

      I'm a huge fan of sci-fi, cartoons and everything in between. Firefly, Dr. Who, Red Dwarf (SMEG!) uh.....Futurama..Weekenders (What a very sarcastic show for children...it gave me hope for this generation)....Torchwood....Arrested Development....British comedy such as Black Books, Black Adder, A bit of Fry and Laurie, etc. 

 

Doctor Who, Black Books, Blackadder, Red Dwarf, Fry and Laurie... You have good taste! They are some of my absolute favourite shows.

 

Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking? We like to know things around here

We should get on well. Are either of you much into other British shows like The Vicar of Dibley, Absolutely Fabulous, Father Ted, Bottom...

 

I didn't watch a lot of Ab Fab or Bottom but I know them all well just from living through the era. I love the Vicar of Dibley and Father Ted. VoD more. Ever seen the episode with the Pet Service at the church? I've been to a church service JUST like that. Small country church, kids bringing their pets.. hamsters running up and down the pews. Hilarious chaos.

I JUST finished watching that episode. Whoever recommended I watch this will be directly responsible for the lack of sleep I shall lose watching this.

 

Have you ever been really hungry, gone to the fridge, opened it up, didn't find anything interesting, closed it, sat back down, gotten back up, gone BACK to the fridge, opened it again and peered in, hoping to find something new inside? LOL just a random thought.

 

Sometimes, I wish refrigerators were self-stocking. Although...I'm not sure I'd really want to see what fridges liked to keep in stock. O.o

 

Actually yes. You hope there's some hidden goldmine of goodness hidden under something else so you check again even though the universe has not opened a wormhole in your fridge. I do that throughout the day. I will get up, turn in a half circle and often audibly I will say "What the hell was I doing again?"

 

It's almost like I expect that my options will change...that there's a little fridge fairy who knows what I want and will conjure it for me by the time I decide to open the fridge door again.

 

I have to go to the grocery store today, so I guess that makes ME the fridge fairy. Now...where did I put my wings?

Fridge fairies are very busy. With your cheery optimism, I would venture to guess your wings are never far from you. 

 

 

 

I get a lot of the nasty side effects but I'm used to expecting that at this point. Been on antibiotics constantly for a year now. Hopefully just 6 more months and I'll be done.

 

Junk food...I really like the sugar free oreos but my favorite junk food is the Pillsbury sugar free chocolate fudge brownies. Those are AMAZING. It's really easy to throw the brownie mix together and it doesn't take too long to bake. The hardest part is waiting for them to cool down because the delicious aroma of fresh baked brownies...*drools*...oh sorry... *wipes the drool off my chin* um, yeah. One of those with a scoop of no-sugar-added vanilla ice cream and I'm happy as could be.

 

What about you? What's your go-to food?

 

Junk food is anything with caramel or caramel on caramel in a bowl made of caramel. Regular food is Curry. I love a good curry. You seem to be off to a good start and clicking with others. Not many honest and approachable people nowadays. Most people hide under a false facade that is discernible from the get go but you have a genuine friendliness. If you don't make it in, it would be a crime. You've got my vote. 

 

Oooo caramel...I love caramel. I can honestly say that sugar free caramel is just...wrong. LOL There's no way to make good sugar free caramel. It's just not possible.

 

Curry...the only kind of curry I've had was with a group of people from Bangladesh. That was several years ago and to be honest, I don't really remember if I liked it or not. I guess I'll have to try curry again.

 

Thank you for your kind words You'd probably never guess it, but not too long ago, I was the girl who sat in the corner, head shaved, hood up, angry at the world. I've just come to realize in my life that I am who I am and the people who want to know ME, are the people worth keeping around.  

 

Genuine people are indeed hard to come by these days. I hope you make it in too. This community seems like such a great place to be.

 

 

Changing your entire perception is a huge undertaking because you are first admitting to yourself that you were ignorant to some facts. I'm sure you also feel happier too because it takes too much effort to pretend to be something you arent. I would venture to guess your whole attitude has been transformed as well. Not getting as mad easily or trying to see two sides of the coin. Are you on other servers while you wait? Do you have a current build you are working on?

I'm on woodenaxe and darkhelmet but I haven't really been playing on either lately because I don't want to build something I get attached to on those servers. Not to mention, I'd have to /ignore everyone on both servers because the people on both stress me out. LOL Are you on any other servers while you wait?

 

I'm not much of a builder. More of a farmer. I like maintaining my crops and such. What about you? Do you have a current build you're working on?

I joined a new server called GiBCraft. Already made a bit of name for myself doing some drunken racing around the main square with a man who is already a server legend as well. I've made some great friends who have let me use their mines to assist me in in growing my presence there. I only have a small island outpost at this moment though from where I set off on my grand adventures. On the Stuncraft server, I decided  I constructed a manmade waterfall entirely out of mossy cobble.....well that look horrendous. Just as I was on the verge of knocking it all down, a friend urged me to cover it naturally. I made sure the geometry reflected the natural mountainous hills that were beside it. It looks amazing now I think. Well....the front is still a bit flat but it looks more like one of those random flat sides you see here and there in the outskirts that randomly generate. However it also has a hidden cove inside that had a path into a dungeon. I also made a small fishing village on the outskirts of the cove.Then, as I am partial to waterfalls, I added one in front of my home that is on planks in the water. That's as far as I got.
