I finished my secure storage area so I have some more screenshots. I think this is my personal favorite so far since it's both fun, functional and kinda pretty if I do say so myself 
.
Here you see what I call Temporary Insanity which is right next to the Portal. If I have an inventory full of an assortment of stuff I want to drop off I'll just throw it in one of the chests to sort later.
If I have an inventory full of cobblestone however, I'll go straight to Cobblestone Crevice and drop it off there.
Then there's Doohickey Haven, which is obviously a haven for all my doohickeys.
Next up is Ores Galore which is obviously where I'll be storing my ores.
Then we have Flora's Fauna, tended to by my imaginary MC girlfriend Flora. She's a nice girl.
Someone had a lava mishap lately so I decided to make a safe place for my lava buckets. A misclick should have no ill effects.
Some items don't really fit into a certain category so I made The Miscellaneous Mine which I thought would be an appropriate home for them.
Lots of blocky stuff in this game, so you can't go wrong with a Blocks R Us.
And then as a center piece there's The Wooly Waypoint. Sheep tend to avoid it.
Last but not least there's my Trade Room. (I'm trying to subliminally suck up to Ray, don't tell him please)
(my real trade room is in the back of the Miscellaneous Mine)

This area still needs a few finishing touches, but they'll have to wait for later. I'm fresh out of ideas at the moment.
