Shoutbox No Shouts

Guest"> (25 October 2015 - 11:47 PM) Drah, those sorts of projects are possible on the main map, but to keep the noise down when digging a long run like that under a bunch of people's flagged areas, you have to use softer tools like wooden picks instead of diamond, metal, or stone ones for the entire length. I'm sure Garrik will help with the tunneling, though.
Guest"> (06 October 2015 - 06:42 PM) And I remember when ananda11 was just a wee chap of 1, knee-high to a cow-rabbit. Garrik, our little man is growing up.
Guest"> (03 September 2015 - 10:22 PM) Wait, B01E has invented Renic Repellant? Good googily moogily.
Guest"> (01 September 2015 - 03:40 PM) B01E, I have it on good authority that the owners of the Hall of SHAME got a 460 on their SAT's due to a shattered lead in two different Sandy Eagles they had brought to the test. If anyone can hold a grudge, it's someone who has a tight pencil grip.
Guest"> (31 August 2015 - 08:16 PM) B01E, the Eberhard Faber Blackwing 602 retrospective (along with the stunning disclosure of the potential existence of a prototype for the 602b, which reportedly has differing usable hardness within a single lead depending on angle of impact) was TO. DIE. FOR!
Guest"> (29 August 2015 - 08:47 PM) Good. I knew you wouldn't skimp on those comp tickets! Nice job supporting local businesses, too. Houpeweemaakit Airlines, named for the indigenous Houpewee Tribe.
Guest"> (29 August 2015 - 07:56 PM) Stacy. I called to reserve my flight, and they asked if I wanted to be in the "Poultry" or "Non-Poultry" section. They're talking about the in-flight meal... right?
Guest"> (26 August 2015 - 06:42 PM) Speaking from complete and utter ignorance, but we had a similar problem in SG4 with some portals being killers. I think (such as it is) that it was based on orientation and height, as well as materials, with some portals just not working that well. I don't know what fixed it. Glad I could help! ;)
Guest"> (11 July 2015 - 07:03 PM) Nix that. Just got one of my own here a couple of weeks back, and I have neither the time nor the energy for anything more.
Guest"> (06 July 2015 - 08:21 AM) Not piercing; earbuds. (Trying to sneak in some UHC Sixtygig-style on Wordly's YouTube channel during a moment of silence.)
Guest"> (05 July 2015 - 11:23 AM) ;)
Guest"> (05 July 2015 - 11:04 AM) Congratz to Stacy on going Red! (I may be the only person on here getting less sleep than you! Why? See for yourself: Posted Image
Guest"> (21 May 2015 - 08:54 PM) And now for a test of the SixtyGig Emergency Broadcast System ****GarrikP is old***** This has been a test of the SixtyGig Emergency Broadcast System
Guest"> (06 April 2015 - 08:41 PM) Belated note to all Greenies: The formal Welcome will be held tomorrow night at 10 GMT at Renic_ixillon's place. BYoTNT. It'll be a smashing good time!
Guest"> (01 April 2015 - 04:01 PM) Just FYI, Will be changing my name to 'torc_idillon' in honor of Dad's 60th. Happy Birthday, Pops!
Guest"> (24 March 2015 - 08:19 PM) Ori uses words like mats: Saves them up for a time and then, boom, he crafts a wonderful, expansive comment out of them. +1
Guest"> (15 March 2015 - 08:28 PM) Plucked her eyebrows along the way, shaved her legs, and then he was a she...
Guest"> (12 March 2015 - 07:04 PM) Be sure to label all Main Map builds. Also, cobble/dirt-pillar explored Wilds villages/temples.
Guest"> (22 February 2015 - 08:10 PM) Mac, The Wilds is wilds, Lady!. Use/fix/expand/improve it at your leisure. It gets closer to a boat launch for the Mesa islands, too.
Guest"> (13 February 2015 - 09:31 PM) Don't worry, Ray. We're still a few months away from having more WordlyWalkers. We have to go through the WordlyWiggler, WordlyWriggler, and WordlyWobbler ages first. Congratz WW!
Guest"> (11 November 2014 - 12:38 PM) Ray, now with RPC greenlit if you go all Mojang and decide to move to Sweden, this guy just put his house on the market: http://imgur.com/a/mAA2k
Guest"> (02 November 2014 - 08:44 PM) More like we're 51 weeks ahead of all ya'll, amirite?
Guest"> (23 September 2014 - 08:56 AM) Little known fact: Our very own Renic helped with the subtitle translations on the classic Airplane: The Movie back in 1980.
Spoiler
Guest"> (23 September 2014 - 08:45 AM) Ray, have you thought about enlisting any of our friends here to translate RPC to other languages? Perhaps for a couple non-voting shares in RayvoCorp?
Guest"> (30 August 2014 - 11:48 AM) GP, man you look like you picked up a fierce tan in that ice bucket challenge vid. Guess the sun is hotter down there.
Guest"> (04 June 2014 - 05:29 AM) I say nice things about myself all the time.
Guest"> (29 April 2014 - 08:18 PM) You threatened him with that drill, didn't you Zellcos?
Guest"> (10 April 2014 - 08:14 PM) Ahh, Ros... where have the years gone? I've known you since you were just a wee Limboan, knee-high to a zombie pigman, and now you've grown into such a fine Vet. Happy Birthday!
Guest"> (20 January 2014 - 07:57 PM) Stacy, re: your "News and Announcement" post, I felt like I was personally targeted last night. Logged in and someone told me to 'Run', which was clearly a crack about my weight. I'd like to file a grievance. Not sure against who, but I'll just assume it was Renic.
Guest"> (04 January 2014 - 03:24 PM) I'd say that would be OK, Zel. The main map ban on harvesting is for mats, not renewables like foods. (Edit: And the ban covers chest loot, too.)
Guest"> (01 January 2014 - 10:07 PM) Don't worry, Ray. He's just here for the player tracker.
Guest"> (31 December 2013 - 06:08 PM) +1
Guest"> (26 December 2013 - 09:25 PM) Puh-lease. There are probably more Lone Star farmer growing some 7-star plants than there are wild-eyed city boys moving to Kansas and staging dances in abandoned grain mills over the objection of the local Baptist preacher.
Guest"> (11 December 2013 - 11:02 PM) v +1
Guest"> (10 December 2013 - 06:31 PM) Wait! I demand a recount!
Guest"> (10 December 2013 - 06:30 PM) No 1 torcido: Renic_ixillon!
Guest"> (16 November 2013 - 10:24 PM) I always gave Han the benefit of the doubt, assuming that he found a shortcut that cut the length of the Kessel Run down from 15 parsecs to only 12, and that's what he was bragging about. Plus, Darth Lucas is my father.
Guest"> (25 September 2013 - 07:16 PM) Don't tell me, they drive a Grand Marquis?
Guest"> (13 September 2013 - 12:41 PM) And, finally, after all of Google's marketing and tie-in efforts, Irysh has stumbled upon a way to actually make G+ competitive.
Guest"> (13 September 2013 - 12:27 PM) But video would require torido to put on pants, and it's not really SixtyGig if pants are involved.
Guest"> (12 September 2013 - 08:29 PM) Stacy, you still going on about that 'Salty Spray' thing, or was your comment about something different?
Guest"> (17 August 2013 - 01:42 PM) Oh, the damage a wandering Nek could have done to SixtyGig...
Guest"> (17 August 2013 - 01:25 PM) The orthographic view, zoomed in, makes the point quite clear.
Guest"> (16 August 2013 - 09:25 PM) Good. Now you can buy your own cigarettes and quit bumming mine.
Guest"> (16 August 2013 - 11:49 AM) Merlinver, Ray created a script that automatically banhammers anyone who tries to log into one of those so-called 'other servers', and then corrupts their entire java package. We only want dedicated SixtyGiggers here, my friend.
Guest"> (10 August 2013 - 12:23 PM) C-tripleO-GZ, it creates problems for Ray when he resets the Wilds each month if they aren't removed.
Guest"> (07 August 2013 - 07:29 AM) Since the Wilds allows us to capture new mobs (thanks to the SG Cowgirls and boys) and we can terraform by brining in mats from that world (similar to the de-desertification outside the hub), we may be set for the time being. (just my personal $0.02)
Guest"> (07 August 2013 - 07:28 AM) I'm not sure we'd need the biomes to be 'regional' for anything we do here. And 'expansion' has been shot down in the past due to the problems with the boundaries of the existing biomes not lining up with the current land surface.
Guest"> (16 July 2013 - 09:16 AM) See, Simon, this is why I never try to build anything nearly as nice as your maze. Once you do, you have a reputation to live up to, and then you have to spend time running ideas in creative trying to keep up with everyone's expectations. No, I'll stick with dirt hovels and cobble skytowers, thank-you-very-much.
Guest"> (11 July 2013 - 01:04 PM) Happy Spawning Day, Ren!
Guest"> (11 July 2013 - 05:45 AM) HB, OB!!
Guest"> (10 July 2013 - 08:23 PM) It's a beautiful day in Tim's neighborhood... a beautiful day for a neighbor...
Guest"> (10 July 2013 - 07:28 PM) Renic is getting permabanned, though. No rumor there.
Guest"> (10 July 2013 - 07:28 PM) Sky, That is just a rumor. There's no proof that Ray's planning a map reset just as there's no proof that we're going to be starting 1.6 with UHC mode on. Please do not spread unfounded rumors.
Guest"> (07 July 2013 - 01:11 PM) Had a nice Vent cave run with Stacy and Dann seems like years ago now. Haven't done much with it since, though.
Guest"> (05 July 2013 - 12:13 PM) So, SoonerDead, Did you manage to make it to work on time?
Guest"> (09 June 2013 - 09:09 AM) My mistake on the previous comment(s). Thought the claim-jumping was on the main map. Go with what Nek said for the wilds.
Guest"> (09 June 2013 - 07:54 AM) Also, building roads through public areas is fine, but make sure you are in 'public' areas, and be aware that someone else may modify your route to work in their own (or bypass an area they want to build in) so sign it, too, if you want them to contact you first.
Guest"> (09 June 2013 - 07:53 AM) Just a reminder to flag off small-ish areas of territory if you have plans for them (redstone borders or columns with signs, something), and to scout out areas before building, in case you're setting up shop in someone's back yard.
Guest"> (28 May 2013 - 09:31 PM) Oh, "appendix". For a moment I read 'tonsils', which made the subsequent story all the more amusing.
Guest"> (28 May 2013 - 07:13 PM) Nice try, butt I'll see your joke and raise you another inappropriate cartoon.
Guest"> (28 May 2013 - 07:14 AM) Tim, just lean forward and think of SixtyGig!
Guest"> (27 May 2013 - 09:28 PM) Switching fields from Psychology to Proctology will have that effect. Just ask Old Man Nekcalb.
Guest"> (20 May 2013 - 10:32 AM) Ahh, HGX, going through SixtyGig Rumschpringe? Welcome back.
Guest"> (16 May 2013 - 07:21 PM) Congratz, Xai! It's like a first date all over again.... except with zombies.
Guest"> (06 May 2013 - 03:17 PM) I was too late!
Guest"> (05 May 2013 - 10:53 AM) After his return from sabbatical, I'd assumed Nek was starting to have too much faith in humanity. As that would result in the end of the world as we know it, I waited for him to refill the donation chests, then emptied them all into a lava pit. Crisis averted. You're welcome.
Guest"> (27 April 2013 - 04:12 PM) I mean it's not as impressive as getting promoted to Vet here on SixtyGig, but it's still nice.
Guest"> (27 April 2013 - 03:48 PM) Way to go, Stacy!
Guest"> (07 April 2013 - 07:22 PM) GP, I got pee'd on less than an hour ago... and expect it again sometime in the next 4-5 hours.
Guest"> (07 April 2013 - 07:19 PM) Congratz, Stacy!
